Brownie Bottom Cheesecake

Brownie Bottom Cheesecake is very easy to make so you will feel like cheating! Enjoy a rich layer of brownish brown underneath with sweet and sweet cheesecake toppings. Use brownie mix to save time!



Brownie Bottom Cheesecake
This delicious recipe combines two of my favorite desserts: brownies and cheesecake. Together, they are a couple made in heaven.
With only five ingredients, this dessert will be served for your family to enjoy in no time.
I'm a big sucker for whatever cheesecake. I will eat it in whatever way you give me ... of course with reason. Brownies and cheesecakes like PB and jam. Tasty on their own, but absolute perfection together.
I made this cheesecake for my family and it didn't even last an hour! I swear the new people devour it before I can even tear a piece. I know, don't worry, but I have to hide it in the fridge under a paper towel.

Basic ingredients of Lower Brownie Cheesecake
You only need FIVE ingredients to prepare this beauty.

  • Brownies mixed
  • Cream cheese
  • Egg
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla

I used Betty Crocker Chocolate Chunk Brownie Mix in this recipe. I love the chocolate pieces scattered throughout for additional decadent pleasure.

How to Make Brownie Bottom Cheesecake
Start by mixing brownies from the package according to the instructions in the box. Apply the brownie mixture to the bottom of the 9-inch springform skillet.
Add cream cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla to a large bowl. Beat together until smooth. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350F. Reduce heat to 325F and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool before removing the springform baking pan.
Drizzle with some chocolate sundae or whipped cream, if you want!

Can You Freeze Cheesecake
Yes, you can! Wrap with foil or plastic wrap first and store for up to 6 weeks in the freezer. Melt before you serve.
Frozen cheesecakes are a great way to always have dessert if you have a visitor or get a craving for sweets.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 box of mixed brownies
  • 2 250g packet of cream cheese, mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Mix the brownies from the package according to the package instructions. Apply the mixture to the bottom of the 9-inch springform skillet.
  3. Add cream cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla to a large bowl. Beat together until smooth. Spread on top of the brownie mixture.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 325F and bake again for 15 minutes.
  5. Allow cooling before releasing it from the pan. Serve with chocolate sauce, if desired.
